Buyside Generates Most Homeowner Engagement, Listings, and ROI

NASHVILLE, TN, November 10, 2021—Engaging a Homeowner is the key to capturing multiple aspects of a transaction. Buyside partnered with RealTrends to assess what aspects of a website created the most engaging experience for the homeowner and inventory for the brokerage.
With real estate inventory tight across the country, Buyside has been helping real estate brokers and mortgage lenders deliver an online homeowner experience to attract potential sellers. For the 2nd year in a row, Buyside has collaborated with RealTrends to announce the results of 2021 Website Rankings for the “Best Seller Page” category.
According to NAR’s 2020 stats, 69% of home buyers have a home to sell first. Providing a homeowner experience not only helps generate seller leads and listing inventory, but gets a brand in front of a consumer at the right time to capture the mortgage pre-approval and buy side of the transaction.
Homeowners have more access than ever to data about their home, and brokerages are taking the necessary steps to keep them engaged. Ashley Terrell, Chief Revenue Officer for Buyside, stated “The winners of this category had experiences that included engaging content, estimated home valuations from multiple sources, an overview of buyer demand in the local market, and some even had estimated equity of the property that the homeowner could utilize towards a new home.”
Terrell went on to announce “The winning brokerages of this category have attracted a combined 139,018 new unique homeowners YTD, which has equated to $54.5B in listing volume. A staggering 27% of homeowners who ran the value of their home left their information for an agent to contact them. Congratulations to these brands for their success!”
